Snoopy's Radiation treatment
“Dogs are our link to paradise” – Milar Kundera
On March 14, 2022 Snoopy began his stereotactic radiation therapy at Animal Specialty Center. Snoopy’s treatment was for three days which consisted of radiation directly to his nose. For every treatment, Snoopy was put under anesthesia. We were satisfied with the outcome after the anesthesia because he did not present to be loopy or “out of it.” The length of each radiation treatment was about an hour or so. My brother and I took Snoopy to all three of the radiation treatments and I remember Snoopy was always so calm. Just looking at him, and feeling his positive energy gave us so much hope. Snoopy completed the radiation therapy on March 16, 2022. We were eager to see any signs of a good outcome and we actually noticed that the mucus on his nose was occurring less often. Snoopy presented to be stable for about a month and of course we were ever so happy.
