Grief

Grief has not been easy and for those who are familiar with the feeling, know that you never overcome such a heartbreaking feel. We somewhat try to learn how to “live” without your loving fur baby, although if I am being honest, you never truly learn how to live without them because you never shake off the pain, I remember the year that he crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022, I continued to smell his scent so much. I dreamt him a lot more and even at some point I literally thought i smelled his grassy farts. Writing these recent blogs were difficult because it takes me back to a place that my family and I have not yet fully healed from. However, I share Snoopy’s journey with his medical conditions, battle with cancer, and our experience to help bring awareness for other dog owners in hopes that they can skip or process any future pain with a healthier approach. The awareness is to bring mindfulness of your fur baby’s health and what medical signs to look for or if you are going through the same grieving process as we are, know you are not alone. These feelings of anger, sadness, and guilt I have learned are normal feelings to have and others in similar situations as us, feel the same.
